All across the fitness industry, you will hear the words “no excuses” shouted from the rooftops. You’ll see these two famous words written everywhere from a personal trainer’s topless selfie photo to a large gym chain’s marketing material.

In this video, I’ll talk about why this isn’t a particularly helpful narrative for trainers and gyms to stake their reputations on. However, far from just being a training philosophy, I’ll discuss how the “no excuses” mantra could also be a convenient marketing strategy and time-saver for companies and individuals trying to get more money for less work. These are the not the individuals/companies you want to be working with if you’re serious about building a long-term fitness habit!
