At a Glimpse

  • 15 years’ personal training experience;
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Strength and Conditioning Science;
  • 8 years working with athletes, powerlifters and Olympic weightlifters;
  • 18 years in kickboxing and martial arts.

  • Helping athletes such as skiers and sprinters continually set new personal bests in their sport, even in their 40s and 50s;
  • Training powerlifting clients to reach milestones such as a 200kg back squat.
  • Guiding many clients to reach their definition of “the best shape I’ve ever been in”.
  • Assisting people to come back from injuries including ACL ruptures, back injuries, hip flexor tears, arm breaks.
  • Helping weight-loss clients lose as much as 15kg over a sensible timeframe.

My Specialisms

Here are some of the main personal training services I offer in Liverpool Street.

  • Strength and Conditioning – I work with recreational and amateur athletes looking to improve their performance in their sport.
  • Strength Training – sometimes clients want to get strong for life, whereas others want to pursue powerlifting or Olympic weightlifting. While training for these clients can vary widely, their training is based on good strength training principles coupled with my experience.
  • Boxing/Kickboxing – want to improve your cardiovascular health and relieve stress? Padwork sessions can be worked into other gym training, or it can be the sole focus of our workouts together.
  • Health and Gym Confidence – A lot of my Liverpool street PT clients have secondary goals to improve their body composition, boost their longevity, and learn how to train themselves.
  • Online Personal Training – I have been providing online personal training since 2019 for a range of clients. If you’re not in the City of London area, or feel fairly self-sufficient in the gym, then this is the perfect way to still benefit from the structure that a personal trainer can provide.

My Personal Training Services

In Person – My personal training services range from multiple in-person training sessions a week, to programme updates once a month. I can be present for every training session you do, meaning all you have to do is show up. Alternatively, if you want to do some sessions on your own, I provide training programmes complete with exercise videos. You can fully edit the programme, and leave notes for me follow up on. Prices depend on exactly what you need, so get in touch to find out more.

Online – Not in the Liverpool Street area? Try my fully customisable online personal training. I can provide a fully behind-the-scenes service, reading your programme notes and using them to update the programme. Alternatively we can have regular check-ups via call or text. Get in touch and we can set up the service that works for you.

Ready-made – I have created online programmes designed to deliver results in one highly specialised goal. These are sold as one-off products with no additional support (aside from some initial programme tweaking). These are perfect for anyone who is familiar with the gym but isn’t sure how to reach their goal. These are as follows:

  • 8-Week Deadlift Programme – prioritise your deadlift training for the next 8 weeks, and go for a new PB at the end of week 9. Complete with specialised deadlift exercises, and some time given to maintain the other fundamental movement patterns.
  • 8-Week Pullup Programme – spend your time building up your pullup strength. Work towards your first unassisted pullup, or a new pullup PB.
